A VERY SIMPLE BUSINESS CONCEPT…OF DOOM!
When trying to figure out what’s good content for a NEWBIE I’ve realized that not everyone comes from a business background. It stands to reason that a lot of the beginning anxiety and confusion stems from a very simple misconception… That there is a magical difference between ONLINE BUSINESS and regular business.
Truth is that any income stream (online or not) is a form of business, the only difference between them is the “storefronts”.
Business is simple – there people who make the products or provide the services, there are people who are in need of those products or services, and there are facilitators in the middle which help bring the two together.
If anything, the internet is supposed to make business easier by cutting down costs and barriers of entry into a market. Brick and mortar small businesses have to worry about advertising, conversion rates, and getting the word out in the community as much your blog or mine.
So what does this mean for you?
- Relax. This is not new-age technie thing that only people in their 20s understand.
- By not associating online income with a confusing process you will have much more avenues to learn from. Business is everywhere around us, there are free lessons as soon as you step outside your door.
- Knowledge is power. Finding online income streams has enough challenges, you dont need to add any psychological deterrents on top that.
This is a very short simple lesson but I sincerely hope it has helped people lose some apprehension in regards to getting an online income. Let me know if you have any OTHER things that cause you anxiety and I’ll be sure to help you out.

These days with so much help available it is easy to start, but if you are not bringing some uniqueness in the market is is hard to survive (though many have proved me wrong on this).

Thanks for the comment Sanjeev!
You’re right, it is easier than ever to start. I have found that even simple psychological barriers (easily overcome) can cause someone to start on shaky ground, delay starting, or not start at all. That in turn can affect their performance throughout the project.

Well, that sort of post is helpful for a newb. That is a nice perspective in that it isn’t some big mystery. Though I would prefer to be here on my couch than a structure made of brick and mortar.
P.S. I think there is a typo above fyi.
It reads, ‘there are free lessons as soon as you step of your front door’.
Please delete this part of my message of you want :)

I write at midnight, end around two and go to work around 7.30am… I accept my mistakes and own them, lol. Such is the life of a poor blogger.

LOL, I know what you mean. The first sentence on my blog was like a foreign language and even I wasn’t sure what it meant, so I had to re-write it :) Oh well. For some odd reason I appreciate the occasional typo, it reveals their humanity.
